RIS's GPS and Data Acquisition Toolsets streamline the conventional field survey practices in the geophysical survey community. From customer feedback, the tools have been crafted to improve the data collection process and to provide visual feedback in the field setting resulting in improved survey results.

  • Base Station Location, a GPS data processing package that displays satellite position and signal strengths, allows the user to set DOP or angle criteria for use in the positioning algorithm, and provides better accuracy through integration of positioning data.


  • Survey Mapper, a graphical interface program which displays data readings superimposed on a 2D map image allowing the field survey data to be checked in near realtime fashion.


  • Data Utility, a software analysis and utility program to align data paths and process raw numbers from the field.
